Appointments Information

Appointments can be easily arranged by phone or at reception.

All initial Doctors consultations are by telephone, your GP will invite you for a face-to-face consultation if needed.

You can now book an appointment to see a GP, nurse or other healthcare professional in the evening or at the weekend; speak to your practice receptionist or a member of the practice team to find out more.

The surgery aims to ensure that patients are seen within 2 working days by a doctor; in events such as sickness, annual leave, bank holidays and emergencies the surgery will endeavour to meet this target.

Care Navigation

We are pleased to announce that we have engaged with local practices and have started a new system called care navigation.
This means that the reception staff may ask you a little more about the nature of your problem as it may be more appropriate that you are seen by a different health care professional rather than your GP.

Telephone Advice

Doctors can also give telephone advice.

Doctors will usually take calls during surgery but there may be occasions when you are asked to call back at a more convenient time.
